Martin Haslinger is not only the creator of CareerTeen, he is my dad. When I was a kid, he was a salesperson working for a computer hardware manufacturer. When I was a little older, he made a career change and become a recruiter. After a year or two of recruiting, he co-founded the recruiting firm Human Castle. Recruiting seemed to come easy for him and his company is still doing well today.

As a recruiter, my dad started publishing articles that would dig deep into people’s talents, categorizing their skills. He used these categories to help himself recruit, and shared his publications with anyone who would have interest. He published two free online programs, Culture Of Experts and CareerSteady. These were written for company management and employees. He noticed that these programs might also be helpful to teenagers who are thinking about career choices. CareerTeen was born.
